This is a Henry Griffith & Son of Birmingham, vintage sterling silver thimble.
This antique thimble is marked Sterling Silver, The Spa. This company moved from Birmingham to Leamington Spa in 1920’s, so this piece was made around that date. There are no date markings on this item.
The thimble is in a very good antique condition, there are some light surface scratches but nothing out of the ordinary. This item is still holds its shape and has no pin holes.
One half of the thimble is adorned with a honeycomb waffle engraving and the other half is a floral engraving.
The size marking is 14.
